Daisy came over this week because her daddy had an interview in San Antonio- We really hope they decide to come to Texas!! Henry can't go very long without holding Daisy's hand!

Family Pictures

We had our first family pictures taken!! (inspired by the Goffs) We just wanted to share a few of them :) Hopefully we can keep it up every year and see how our family grows!

Shots!!!

Henry got his shots yesterday :( I don't know if it was harder on me or him- I think I actually cried longer than he did. He did so well! We gave him tylenol before the shots and he only fussed when they stuck the needle in, and as soon as I picked him up, he was fine :) He just went to sleep and never fussed again :) We also got to meet his doctor for the first time and we LOVE him! He was so patient and gentle, we are really excited to have him (for the next 3 1/2 years anyway) He is 9 1/2 weeks old and is a few ounces shy of 15 lbs!! And was 24 1/2 inches long! The doctor said he is in the 95th percentile and is the average weight of a 4 month old :) He sure knows how to eat!! :) Dr. Smith actually told us we could start supplementing a few feedings a day with juice- he said it will fill him up without the calories... kinda funny, it sounds like my baby is on a diet :) We tried the juice and he didn't want anything to do with it. That's ok, I like that he's a big boy :) more to cuddle!! He is in perfect health! The only thing that was a little alarming was this bump he has had on his foot since we brought him home from the hospital. We thought it was from them taking his blood so much, but the doctor said it looked like a small fatty cyst or mass- He didn't seem too worried but he does want us to see an orthopedic surgeon so we have an appointment on the 21st of this month. He said the only problem it might cause is hindering his walking, so we are going to get it checked! Please say a prayer for us that it is nothing!!

We are so excited- The Goffs are coming in a few days and we can't wait!!! Get here soon!!

2 Months Old

Well, our little boy was 2 months old on the 5th! It is so crazy how fast time goes! He is getting so big and starting to talk and smile- He has even started rolling over from back to front! It really is crazy how much love you can have for someone when just a few months ago we hadn't even met (I guess it is possible since Brian and I got engaged after only 3 months of dating :) But this is just amazing!! We go back to the doctor on Friday for his 8 week check-up. Its a little late but we really wanted to get in with a particular doctor, so we had to wait an extra week- We will let you know how it goes-

I just wanted to show a picture of the neclace Brian got me for Christmas- It is beautiful!! I have been trying to take a picture of it for a while with our camera, but it reflects light so it comes out blury. It looks like the one in the picture that actually says "henry" strangely enough- It doesnt have all the other stuff with it and it is silver instead of gold-

I am so proud of it!!! :)
