Play time

Henry had a tough day playing yesterday-
First, he got the bath toy duckie stuck in his mouth...

But don't worry, he just kept playing like it wasnt there :)

Then, he got a cup stuck on his foot about 2 min after the duckie :)
He likes to pretend to drink out of a cup, so we keep one in his play pen-

Look how big he is getting in his walker- He is getting faster and faster at walking in it!
We are still working on crawling. We try to work with him everyday, but I guess he's just not ready yet :)

We went swimming with some friends the other day to get out of the heat!
Henrys swim shorts matched daddys!

New foods!

Henry has started eating a few things off our plates recently- All soft stuff of course, but it is time to get him started on more solids- This flavor ice however isn't the most nutritious, but he REALLY loves them! Any flavor, he will eat it!

I think it feels good on his teeth :)

Speaking of teeth, you can see them a little bit in this picture-
They are really starting to come out now!

In other news, Riley got a hair cut for the summer, and we think he looks like a llama :)
You might not be able to tell in this picture as well as in person, but it's really funny!!

Henry also had his first apple
He watched as dad took bites...

Then he thought he needed some too

He got to use his 2 teeth to scrape the juice out...he loved it!

This is him before church this morning.
He was in such a good mood we wanted to capture it!

Have a good week!

Shoot 'Em Up

We took this picture in San Antonio-
We love the expression on Henrys face!!
(This was our profile pic, but I guess you couldn't see it very well. Now you can click on it and enlarge it to see his face :)

San Antonio

We went to San Antonio for the weekend before Brian starts Optho. and to celebrate Fathers Day. It was our first official family vacation with just the three of us! We had so much fun!!

We stopped at the outlet mall in San Marcos first- It is the largest outlet mall in the nation!
It's very dangerous!!!! Way too many stores :)

This was out hotel. We stayed in the Wyndham Historic Hotel on the Riverwalk-
It was beautiful!

This was the fountain in the parking garage

Bar

Lobby

Happy Fathers Day Brian!!!
We love you!!!!

He looks a little grumpy, I don't think he likes Texas very much :)

This was the view from the balcony where we had dinner-
It was a little Mexican restaurant called Zuni

We had the balcony all to ourselves- It was wonderful!

Henry got a few bites of Haagen Dazs for dessert

The Alamo-

A little self portrait

Brian wants these doors on our front house someday-
I wonder if the Alamo would just sell them to us?? :)

Then, we went to the wax museum...but it was $44 to get in, so we just took pictures in the lobby :)

This guy stood perfectly still and I was looking at him wondering if it was real or not because he has no body!! As I walked past, his eyes followed mine and I thought it was so realistic that I grabbed Brian to tell him that this was why I didn't like wax museums, because they looked so real- Just as I touched Brian, the guy moved and said "what are you lookin at"?? Scared me to death!!
I realize that in the picture this guy looks real, but in person I had on my sunglasses and we had just left the wax museum :)

Where we ate on Fathers Day!

Henry loved it! We sat next to the aquarium

Animals Everywhere!!!

We tried out his duck bath tub for the first time a few nights ago and he loved it!! He got it from Aunt Ashley before he was born and he is just now big enough to sit up in it! He LOVES it!

He likes to play with his water toys!

His hair is so light, that when its wet, he looks bald :)

Then we saw more ducks at the zoo today!
We went to the Waco zoo for the first time and he did really well!
He fell asleep in the car on the way over and had just woken up when we took this picture...can you tell :)

Daddy and Henry looking at the elephants

Isnt this so funny!! This deer was standing up lookin over the fence! :)
We couldn't get his head in the pic- it was behind the tree :)
