34 weeks

I am 34 weeks this week!! I know...it looks like I am 44 weeks ;) Just when I think I can't get any bigger, I somehow do :) I feel really good. I am a little more tired than usual and have a harder time sleeping at night, but nothing major- I had a Dr.'s app. today and she said everything looked perfect. I measured at exactly what I should and she said at this point, they would not stop labor if it started b/c at 34 weeks, the lungs are fully developed!!!! We are so excited, it just doesn't seem real- Henry now has the hiccups about 2-3 times a day and at least once a night- It's hard to get frustrated when it wakes you up because its just so neat!
Well, Brian is doing well and still working hard! He will be done with this rotation at the end of the month, and then start a month of G.I. which will still be long hours, but he should only take call twice the whole month!!!
On a side note.... our friends, the Goffs, had their baby last week!! Daisy June is one week old today and beautiful!! We miss them so much and can't wait to meet her- They have posted pics on their blog and I think everyone should see her!! www.thegoffclub.blogspot.com

We finally got the curtains hung in Henry's room- They are sooo cute! At this point, I think the room is about as ready as we can get it :) All we need is him!

The lake

So, because the weather is so warm down here for so long, the residents usually go to the lake once or twice a week. This was our first time to go with them because Brians a 1st year and he works a lot!! It was really reassuring that after this year, he will have time to go to the lake twice a week!! It was so nice outside- its crazy that we actually were hot and the water was really warm at the end of September!! They said they usually start going out in March or April and go until November or December :) Its crazy!
We had lots of fun, even though I didn't even get out of the boat- Henry enjoyed the ride and we got to watch Brian do really well for only his second time to wake board!!
The lake is really nice and is only about 4 or 5 minutes from our house which will be great when Henry gets a little older:)
These are some of the Optho. residents-
(the girl in the middle with sunglasses is a second year resident and we just found out that she was the first alternate for the olympic swim team in 1996 and 2000...unbelievable!)

Back in Oklahoma

I got a chance to ride back home with a friend of ours from Oklahoma who has been staying with us here in TX. My mom had a surgery and my grandma was in town to help, so I thought it would be a good time to go and help out. It was so good to spend time with my family again- We miss everyone so much! I got to see Mindy and hoped she would have Daisy while I was there, but no such luck :( I can't wait to see the baby, and all our friends and family again!!

This is me and my sister at mom's house- I am 32 weeks pregnant in this picture. I can't believe I will be 33 weeks pg. this week!! It can't get here fast enough, and I really don't know how much further my belly can stretch :)

The Nursery

We still have a little work to do, but Henry's room is coming along! Brian put up his name this week and we got mirrors on the wall, and a lamp- We are getting so excited and I will keep posting pics as we finish-
